How we helped Largo Resources expand sales operations in Ireland

4 February 2021

The client
Largo Resources is a vertically integrated producer and supplier of high-quality vanadium for a wide range of applications. The company operates the Maracás Menchen Mine in Brazil, home to one of the world’s highest-grade vanadium deposits. It also has a clean energy division, Largo Clean Energy, which develops vanadium redox flow batteries for the fast-growing renewable energy storage market.

Their challenge
Largo Resources was restructuring its global sales approach, creating fully operational teams in its Ireland and US commercial offices.

The company was looking for local expertise to support the Irish subsidiary, helping navigate the complexity associated with expanding operations. It needed to ensure corporate administration and governance structures adhered to standards – while enabling the agility Largo needed to drive growth.

Our solution
Largo was introduced to Intertrust through a recommendation. Our combination of local knowledge and global outlook – together with our focus on collaboration and innovation – made us the ideal partner for supporting their new structure.

We provide the full range of corporate administration services to the company’s Irish entities, from accounting and directorships to secretarial solutions. Our intuitive IRIS client portal gives Largo transparency and control, so it’s easy to manage processes and compliance.

Importantly, we also act as a sounding board, focusing on quick responses and proactive communication. That way, Largo stakeholders can side-step potential pitfalls and stay on the front foot as the company grows.
